What can I do for your organization?

  1. Resource development for entrepreneurship and self-employment.
  2. Develop ideas for and implementation of democratic project management with a bottom-up perspective within the fields of entrepreneurship and integration
  3. Organisation of “business to business” and ”business to consumer” partnership. This includes technical know-how within environmental technology and small scale industries
  4. Tailor-made business and projects study tours to different parts of Tanzania. This includes translations to three languages: Swedish, English and Kiswahili
  5. Development work through reality and gender based needs assessments, development of concepts adapted to Tanzanian conditions.
  6. Project applications within the fields of sustainable development, development of measuring methods and follow-up of effect indicators.


Who am I?

I was born in Tanzania and I have 20 years f experience in management and leadership within Non-formal Adult Education Institutions. In Tanzania I worked as principal at Folk Development Colleges, Assistant Programme Officer for development support at SIDA - Swedish Embassy., expert in the projects  “Animation Support to Mother and Child” (UNICEF), ”Rural Women Increased Economic Participation” and ”Skills Development for Self Reliance” (ILO).

During my 13 years in Sweden I have worked as project coordinator and initiator of several projects:

  • Micro Finance Institute for increased employment, economic and social integration, a project conducted in four Swedish regions: Stockholm, Sörmland, Östergötland and Västra Götaland- ongoing.
  • Municipal Partnership between Muheza District in Tanzania and Katrineholm Municipality (Environmental technology for sustainable development) - ongoing
  • PITEM project – Swedish model for microcredit
  • Vilja project – Entrepreneurship for immigrant women
  • NEEM – Network for Entrepreneurs from Ethnic Minorities

I have also conducted an evaluation of a transnational project “Young Women’s Europe”.

Through my engagement I have received a number of awards, e.g. Fiery Sprit of the Year (Katrineholm municipality) Honorary Prize for my commitment in Microfinance for immigrant women (Environmental Managers of Business Society of Sweden)

Since 2008 I am a board member with the European Network for Microfinance
